Activity: Should we restore this river? Both groups consider the following questions: Why was the river altered in the first place, and what impacts have those changes had? What trade-offs come with rewilding or choosing not to rewild? How could this river be restored to its natural state? Is there a possible compromise that balances ecological, social, and economic needs? 3) Debate. Depending on the size of your group, you can pick a spokesperson or take it in turns to make your case for whether or not the river should be restored to its natural state, or what compromises can be made.
