The Western Channel Observatory A long-term marine research programme off the coast of Plymouth, UK, monitoring physical, chemical, and biological changes in the English Channel. Includes key sampling sites such as Station L4 (coastal) and E1 (open sea). Provides one of the longest marine time-series in the world (since early 1900s). Data supports studies on climate change, biodiversity, and ocean health. Used to validate models and guide marine management and conservation efforts. https://www.westernchannelobservatory.org.uk/index.php Plymouth Quest Science Story
