The Great UK WaterBlitz is a nationwide project run by Earthwatch Europe where people test their local rivers, lakes, and ponds for pollution. It is a real citizen science project and is part of our Freshwater Watch project. All the small samples add up to a big picture of how healthy UK freshwater really is . This helps us understand how to look after our freshwater systems and all the animals that call it home! Everyone, schools, families, and communities, can take part and help protect nature.
