Evaporation – The Sun heats up water in rivers, lakes, and seas, turning it into water vapour (a gas) that rises into the air. Condensation – As the vapour goes higher, it cools down and turns back into tiny drops of water, forming clouds. Precipitation – When the clouds get heavy, the water falls back to the ground as rain, snow, or hail. Collection – The water flows over the land, gathering in rivers, lakes, and oceans, and the cycle starts again. Water cycle recap 1 2 3 4 Intro Freshwater Overview (7-11) 10/22
