Freshwater matters because all living things need it to survive. We drink it, grow crops with it, and use it for washing and cleaning. It also supports wildlife , from fish in rivers, to animals that drink from lakes, and keeps our ecosystems healthy. Without enough clean freshwater, people, plants, and animals would struggle to live . Sadly, there are things that threaten our freshwater. But first, lets looks at who calls these places home!
