Learn more - the more you learn the more you’ll realise just how special these places are and what is damaging them - as well as how to protect them. Share what you’ve learnt - if you can share what you love about freshwater with friends and family, they’ll learn to love and protect it to! Become a science communicator - make communication outputs (e.g. poster, podcast, song) highlighting specific information about freshwater ecosystems.. Take action - join a citizen science project that tests water or organise a litter pick on your school grounds or in your community. Notice nature - keep enjoying nature and notice it as it changes!
