METHODOLOGY: Study of educational material concerning the birds of Crete by the Environmental Education Center of Crete. Creation of work groups at school and at home ( teamwork method) aiming at the study of birds living in lakes (material of Greek Ornithological Company) Experiential method (field observation and research with maps, binoculars , compasses and flashlights) in the nearby park and activities on the lake during an educational visit (bird watching, fruit picking and creative writing in groups) Theatre Education games in the schoolyard . Interdisciplinary approach (link to a Module on water in the field of Language, Geography and Physics)
